Previously serving eight years as a mathematics teacher, Mary Ellen was the Director of Marketing and Communication at Asheville Christian Academy for eight years where she built and oversaw many ACA's internal and external communication on multiple platforms. She led projects that involved both digital and print media as well as managing social media outlets and brings a wealth of project management experience. Most importantly, she loves Jesus and is eager to be a part of proclaiming the Gospel at CCCM and telling the story of all that God is doing here. She has been involved at CCCM for years prior to her marriage, particularly with worship leadership. She lives in Black Mountain with her husband, Brian, who is a chef at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove. They have recently started to raise chickens. She loves quilting, reading, crocheting, hiking, kayaking, and playing the piano and flute.
