To Know, Be Known, and Make Him Known
Small Groups
Our small group ministry is the strategic location for disciples to grow in faith of who they are in Christ, to find belonging and encouragement in grace-centered community, and to be equipped to take the name of Jesus into our local community.
Our vision for small group ministry is:
- KNOW JESUS through Gospel-centered encounters
- BE KNOWN through Christian fellowship, encouragement, and accountability
- MAKE HIM KNOWN through outreach to our local community
Our Small Groups primarily meet on Sunday nights and Wednesday evenings to coincide with our children’s and youth programming, but there are also groups that meet on other days of the week.

Sunday School
Sunday Morning Discipleship
We offer several regularly standing classes for all adults during the 10:00 hour on Sunday mornings. Other short-term classes are offered occasionally throughout the year.
Regular Offerings:
- L. Nelson Bell Class – meets in Graham Chapel, taught by Andy Wells. This class is primarily a lecture style teaching through various books of the Bible. (L. Nelson Bell, Ruth Graham’s father and Billy Graham’s father-in-law, was the original teacher of this class as it was broadcast on WMIT radio station beginning in the 1960s). All are welcome.
- The Carpenter’s Union – meets in the McGowan Center under Chapel of the Prodigal and taught by Lloyd Davis, retired Montreat College professor. This class is a discussion-based style that goes through various books of the Bible. All are welcome.
- Parent Fellowship – meets on the first floor of the Henry Building and is led by Joel and Dottie Edwards. This is a relaxed fellowship time for parents and others to discuss life, ask questions, and build relationships. All are welcome! (Also conveniently located near children and youth Sunday School rooms.)

Acts 2 Groups
**Occasionally Offered Seasonally**
"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people." Acts 2:46-7 (ESV)
We are not meant to do life alone. We need each other to cheer each other on and support one another when life is hard. God has made us for relationships and given us the church to give us a place to do just that.
Acts 2 groups are an easy way to get to know others in the church! These are short-term groups of about 6-8 people meet over food to foster friendships (new and old) in the body of Christ. This is for anyone who has been at CCCM for 1 day or 100 years!
What is Acts 2 Dinner?
Sign-up to be placed in a small group (by region) with 3 or 4 households where you will take turns hosting a meal (or food-related event) and sharing your story.
