The purpose of Women in Ministry is to encourage women to use their unique gifts within the church body, to be a resource for women through discipleship and gospel-centered opportunities, including facilitating intergenerational relationships and intentional life-on-life fellowship in an environment where every woman feels seen, supported, and confident they have a place at CCCM.

Women's Circles
Bible Studies
Connect with other women in the church through one of our Women's Circles Bible studies, which meet the second Tuesday of each month from September to May. You can join anytime. All are welcome! Let us know if you’d be interested in starting a new Women’s Circle Bible Study.

Are you new to reading God's Word? Are you looking for a refresher on studying the Bible? Are you a seasoned studier looking for community? All are welcome to join us for our 6-week women's Bible study! Here's what is going on for Fall 2026.
Grazing in the Word – Sept. 10 - Oct. 15
Growing in the Word – Oct. 22 - Dec. 3
THURSDAYS on the 4th floor of the Henry Building. Two time opportunities:
- Mornings: 9:00 - 10:30 am
- Evenings: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
No sign-up required. Just show up with your Bible and a notebook. Feel free to invite a friend!

Often, deeper relationships are formed when you discover a common interest. Special interest groups are an effort to help women in our church experience fellowship and connection with other women they may not otherwise interact with.

Widows Ministry
Naomi's Fellowship
Losing your spouse is hard no matter what stage of life you are in. Naomi's Fellowship is here to give you a safe avenue for community with women who understand the hardships you are walking through. This group meets monthly at various local restaurants.

Serve
Prayer Blanket Ministry - The Prayer Blanket ministry provides fleece blankets sown by members, and available at no charge to give to someone in need. Blankets can be found on the 1st floor of the Henry Building and in the lobby of Graham Chapel on Sunday mornings.

Prison Ministry Fall Retreat – Kairos Prison Ministry hosts a Fall Retreat at the Correctional Center for Women here in Black Mountain. Introducing inmates to Jesus’ forgiving love and encouraging them to meet weekly for prayer. Trained volunteers offer a four-day retreat and follow up with one-day retreats throughout the year to share the Gospel of Jesus. [Learn More About Kairos]

Annual Opportunities
Salad Supper Each Fall, we kick off the season with a fellowship dinner. This is a special time to reconnect after the summer, meet other women, and hear a testimony.
Women’s Conference The women’s conference is a more extended time to gather with other women from our church and to learn from God’s word and grow your faith.
