All Things are From Him and Through Him

Sermon Questions: Romans 11:33-36 (Part 2)
- If our life truly comes “from Him,” what are you doing with the life you’ve been given? Are you living intentionally, or just drifting?
- Is there anything you are holding onto as if it is from you, belongs to you, and you must protect it, perhaps even from God (time, money, control, relationships, plans, etc…)?
- What are the good things from him that you have given thanks for lately?
- What are the difficult things, perhaps even severe mercies that have come from God, and how is he sustaining you in them? Can you discern any purposes of God in them for you, drawing you nearer or sanctifying you in some way?
- Where in your life are you trying to rely on yourself instead of trusting God to work “through” you? What would surrender to Him look like in that area?
- What is cordless Christianity? Do you ever fall into that type of living?
- When things don’t make sense, do you trust that God is still working “through" it all?
- What’s the difference between living for Jesus and living through/with Jesus? What is an area or circumstance in your life where you need to rest in Jesus and allow him to live/work through you.
