We do this because we care about our neighbors. As the Bible says, we believe everyone is made in the image of God, “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 130). When Jesus walked the earth, he healed and fed people while also meeting their deepest spiritual need of forgiveness from sin.
He did all of this because He loves us (John 3:16-17).
