Why Backpacks?

The Backpack Program is a CCCM ministry where every week, church members meet to assemble bags of food and deliver them to schools in our community.

Why We Care

We do this because we care about you and your family. As the Bible says, we believe everyone is made in the image of God, “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 130). When Jesus walked the earth, he healed and fed people while also meeting their deepest spiritual need of forgiveness from sin.

He did all of this because He loves us (John 3:16-17). This is why we assemble backpacks every week: to experience the love of God in real ways because you are loved and worth loving! (Psalm 130).
